How can you get virus while accessing the backing storage?

If any program, software or any file containing virus already while installing it , you may get virus .

Lilly111: How can we prevent it other than using anti virus software?

Akashofficial: k..simple ... turn on windows defender from control panel and also turn on windows firewall from control panel to get secure from Internet viruses
