Well, Soil Erosion is the Removal of upper layer of soil by the mediums of Air(Wind), Water, etc. So the soil gets eroded due to this factors and soil moves one place to another. Forests help to control Soil Erosion as the roots of trees in the forests holds the soil in such a tight way that they can't be eroded, so reforestation can be done to control Soil Erosion in an deforested area. So we can say that restoration of denuded forest so can help to control soil erosion in an area..

For Reforestation, Plants can be sown in a large amount in this areas, plantation can be done in this area, and the area should be reserved and protected as to ban the cutting of Trees in this areas... and thus to protect the greenery and biodiversity of the particular area..
