If you look into a plane mirror, you can find that the size of the image is same as that of the object. If you look into a concave mirror, you can see an enlarged image when placed close and can see an inverted image when kept away. A convex mirror always forms a small and erect image.

When we move to and fro infront of the mirror,
- If our image is diminished and erected, then it is convex mirror.
- If our image is of same size of us and erected then it is plane mirror.
- If our image is enlarge, then it is concave mirror.
