Fill the 4 liter, and pour the it in 9 litres bowl again fill the 4 litres bowl and pour in the 9 litres.
So now the fill the water The 4 litres again, only 1 litres would be filled so 3 litres would be there. Repeat the process again.
Totally 6 litres would come

fill 9l bowl with 8l using 4l bowl twice and then again fill 1l into the 9l bowl to completely fill it hence 3l of water remains in the 4l bowl do it twice to make 6l
