how can you measure the thickness of metal wire​

Normally for small thickness like wires is difficult with the help of scale. we need to measure with the help of insturment called vernier caliper as well screw gage.

also we can use blend method .

wound the wire on steel rod and take diameter with the scale. and also take the diameter without wire. now find the difference will get the wire thickenss. but its not accurate method.
