In case the setup file is missing, this can be done to transfer the software:
- Right-click on the app (say Blender) shortcut and click open file location.
- Go back to a folder by clicking the previous location in the location bar.
- Now, copy the main folder of the program either by the drop-down menu or by pressing Ctrl+C (to copy) or Ctrl + X (for cut).
- Now paste the folder in the desired location (can be an external storage device, here it's an external hard drive).
