Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Associative Property:- a + (b + c) = (a + b) + c

Let a=1

Let b=2

Let c=1/4

         a + (b + c) = (a + b) + c

       1 + (2 + 1/4) = (1 + 2) + 1/4

    1 + (8/4 + 1/4) = (3) + 1/4

             1 + (9/4) = 3/1 + 1/4

             1 + (9/4) = 12/4 + 1/4

           4/4 + 9/4 = 12/4 + 1/4

                    13/4 = 13/4

Hence, L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence, it is proved.

Hope it Helps!!!
