In a word document, Find and Replace option can be found in the Editing group on Home Tab.

  • The Find and Replace commands allow us to lookout for a particular word and replace all it's instances in the document. Without these commands, this process would have been very cumbersome and time consuming.
  • The replace dialog box takes the inputs from the user regarding what to find and what value to replace with. Within the replace dialog box we can also specify if we would like to replace only the next instance of the word or do a 'Replace All' throughout the page.
  • The shortcut combination for Find and Replace command is CTRL+H which will open the Replace dialog box for the user to provide his/her inputs.
