Hey

To determine the number of electrons in a sub shell we use the formula 2(2l+1)

where l = subshell value

Note :-

"l"values of subshell are

s = 0

p = 1

d = 2

f = 3

So in p orbital we have 6 electrons

= 2{2(1)+1}

= 2 {2+1}

= 2 {3}

= 6
