As we know that India is a diverse country. It is full of different relegions and caste. Politicians in India in order to gain votes use topics of caste and religion (although it is illegal). People also vote according to their caste and religion. On such example is "Reservation" it is due to the difference between different caste and should be removed but no politician is ready to remove it because they would loose some votes, this is commonly referred to as 'Vote Bank' in India.
Thus, matters of caste and religion should not be involved in politics as it effects the development of the country.
