Climate does influence the natural vegetation:
a. Temperature - The temperature affects the extent and the character of vegetation. Foe example - pine and fur trees are only found in cold regions.
b. Precipitation - Areas with high amount of rainfall have more dense vegetation.
c. Difference in climatic conditions leads to variation in soil which are suited for different types of plants and crops growth. Therefore, we witness diversity from tropical evergreen forests to thorny bushes, from Equatorial rain vegetation to Alpine vegetation.
