In the Ribosomes, the subunits are classified as per Sedimentation rate. ... We can split the 70s Ribosomes into its respective subunit i.e. 50s and 30s. The 50s subunit has 23s rRNA+ 5s rRNA + 31 protein. The 30s subunit has 16s rRNA + 21 proteins, and this comprises the 70S Ribosomes.
