Yes ,Constitutional provisions play an important role in development of modern India:-

Constitution of any country is a guide a light house for the govts in power to develop the society under them on all fronts. The aim of drafting the Constitution is to avoid deviation from the set principles, objectives and aims of the governing wings for the all round development of a nation i.e.all sections, castes, sects and groups get priority in growth and development.

India is a democratic, socialistic, secular republic treading toward growth and social justice through welfare measures at a fast pace.

The people at the helm of state affairs should seek guidance, inspiration and initiative from the provisions of the Constitution.

The Articles that help govt run administration to achieve overall development of the nation i.e. political, economic, social, cultural and academic-are spread over all the parts of Indian Constitution.

Part 3 (Articles 12 -35)of Indian Constitution guarantees fundamental civil liberties such that all Indians can lead their lives in peace and harmony which in case of violation shall be secured from Judicial courts.

Especially the Part IV dealing with Directive Principles of State Policy (DPSP)( from Articles 36 to 51 ) is a separate chapter intended to mandate govts to keep them in mind while formulating development and welfare schemes for the people.

A nation is ideal one if

1)it shows no discrimination in state matters on the grounds of caste, religion or region.

2)if it tries to achieve self sufficiency in food, agriculture, industry and financial growth to provide basic needs to its subjects like food, shelter, health, security and education.

3)if it tries to place itself on the international platforms on par with other counterpart nations.
