Answer:

☺️❣✔❤You can create your own continuous spectrum with a prism. A prism is made up of any transparent material that can angle light that passes through it. As light enters the prism and leaves another angle, the light is spread through the continuous spectrum.✔☺️❤♣️

Answer :

Continuous spectra -

  • "It can be obtained when white light passes through a prism and splits up into 7 colour band called spectra."
  • These colour bands are seen as merged into each other, hence they are said to be continuous. And the spectrum is hence called continuous spectrum.
  • The colour with longest wavelength, deviates the least and the colour with smallest wavelength, deviates the most.
  • The colour which deviates the least is red and the colour which deviates the most is violet.

More information -

  • The continuous spectra is included under emission spectra.
  • Emission spectra is a spectrum observed when the radiations emitted is passed through a prism.
  • The other type of emission spectrum is line spectra.
  • It is a spectrum obtained from the emitted light from any source like discharge tube which when seen on the photographic plate seems like lines separated by dark bands.
  • This spectrum is also called as Line emission spectra.
