contour ploghing is very helpful in soil conservstion.It is also called terrace farming.it is in mountains.It helps to soil consrvation.By terrace farming we mostly use step farming so the soil is not able to go out when rains or some disasters occurs.It stay there only but in plains it will go with the water.So contour ploughing helps in soilconservation.
