How control and coordination takes place in higher plants

ontrol and Co-ordination in plants take place by plant hormones like auxin. It also take place by various tropic movements like hydro tropism,chemotropism etc.

The hormones are chemicals secreted in very less amounts and simply diffuse at the target sites. these help the plant to grow longer and wider. they also help the plant to detect rays of sunlight and bend towards it.  

Role of tropic movements- These  are the movements either away or towards the direction of stimuli.

Hydrotropism - It is the positive movement of roots of the plant when they detect water molecules around them.

Chemotropism- This is the movement of plant towards useful chemicals and the movement of the style towards the ovary.
