Cooperatives are playing an important role along with the government.

It ensures food security in India.

Their motive is to sell low price items to poor.

Mother Dairy in India is responsible for providing milk and vegetables.

Amul is responsible to provide milk and milk products.

So, we can say that they are playing good role in India.
