modern periodic table is based on the atomic number of elements thereforeproblem of isotopes was solved because isotopes have same atomic numberwrong order of argon pottassium cobalt and nickel was removed

The long form of periodic table is based on atomic number, which is the more fundamental property. The position of an element in this periodic table is linked to its electronic configuration.
1)Position of hydrogen :-- There is an anomaly when it comes to the position of Hydrogen in the periodic table as it can be placed either in group I or 17 group of the first period. The position of isotopes of an element is justified. Different isotopes of an element can be placed at the same place. Since isotopes have same atomic number
2) POSITION OF RARE EARTHS:- These elements are separately placed at the bottom of table . similarly Acton elements ( which were discovered after Mendeleev ) are also placed at the bottom of the periodic table.
3)ANOMALOUS PAIRS.:-the arrangement according to the atomic number show that their placements are correct.
