There are a variety of steps which can be taken to reform cricket boards in India. Regulating the number of terms the head of state and national cricket boards can hold is the first way. Removing politicians from such boards and allowing sportspersons who know and understand the sport to form part of the boards will go a long way in achieving this goal. Instead of concentrating all power in the hands of one person, making a council which will decide matters on the basis of majority votes would be a better system.
