Socialisation teaches us cultural norms & values which direct our everyday lives. Culture can be defined as values, beliefs, behaviour, and material things that is shared by a specific group of people. Culture is a way of life common to a wide range of people

Explanation:

  • Socialization is a cycle of learning which starts soon following birth. The most intense and critical phase in the socialisation is early childhood. So we know the basic aspects of our society. We  then acquire language & learn the culture fundamentals. This is often when a significant part of our personality takes form.
  • Socialization is characterised as the learning to behave in a manner that is appropriate to society, and the behaviour is determined by actions & beliefs of a certain "culture" . Anyone who resides in  a nation or stays in another country for a while or in another major nation from where one has stayed previously encounters culture, values and behaviour differences in these places. It is evident, however, that an atmosphere may affect what person values strongly.
  • Newborn babies are raised without religion. without community. They need to be transformed into culturally and socially aware individuals by their guardians, teachers and others. Socialization is also the general phase of acquiring culture. They know the language of the culture of which they are raised and the positions they are to serve of life through socialisation. Women, including girls, learn how to be sisters, mothers, wives and friends. They are often acquainted with the roles of their cultures. They also understand and eventually follow the norms of our society during the process of socialisation.
  • Norms are the concepts of acceptable and desired behaviour where most of the individuals are accountable for . While socialization applies to the general phase of the acquisition of culture, anthropologists use this the word "enculturation." A person is encultured becasue of their  parents and those who  have educated that person and  have incorporated your unique culture
