Though the cytoplasm is found in each known cell, nucleoplasm is only found in eukaryotic cells. The main difference between cytoplasm and nucleoplasm is that cytoplasm is a fluid mass of the cell which is composed of cell organelles whereas nucleoplasm is the sap of the nucleus which contains the nucleolus.

1. Cytoplasm is present in the outer portion of the nucleus whereas nucleoplasm is formed by the mass of nucleus.

2. The cytoplasm is covered by a membrane which has only one layer but nucleoplasm is surrounded by a membrane that have two membranes.

3. In cytoplasm, cyclosis can be seen but it is not seen in the nucleoplasm.
