if x=2, x=-3 are root of the quadratic equation ax^2+7x^3+b=0 find the values of a and b.​

Answer:

putting the value of x=2

a(2)^2+7×(2)^3+b=0

4a+7×8+b=0

4a+b=-56 (1)

now x=-3

a (-3)^2+7 (-3)^3+b=0

9a+7×(-27)+b=0

9a-189+b=0

9a+b=189 (2)

after subtracting(1) &(2) equations we get

-5a=-245

a=-245/-5 =49

putting the value of a in equation (1

4×49+b=-56

196+b=-56

b =-56-196=-252

a=49 & b=-252 is the answer of ur question
