d/dx(x^n)=nx^(n-1) and d/dx(kx)=kd/dx(x) where k and n are constants
therefore d/dx(5x^2)=5d/dx(x^2)=10x
therefore d/dx(5x^2)=5d/dx(x^2)=10x
