Democracy is the worse form of government known to mankind, although the Greeks espoused it as equal and fair in many cases, Aristotles book “The Politic” explains not only democracy but its devolution from republicanism, which in tern is a devolution from Monarchy.

The founding fathers of the USA were fully aware of this, which is why the USA is a Republic and in Canada we have a Constitutional Monarchy.

Kant explains republicanism in his book “Metaphysics Of Morals”. He explains the necessary parts of a constitution and the reasoning that comes from the common law.

You cannot understand politics in this context until you have read Plato and Aristotle on this. Its like doing calculus without being able to add.
