A democratic government is one which is elected by people and the main power lies with the voters thus the government is bound to be responsible to the citizens. Hence a democratic government is accountable . It meets the requests or demands of people so is responsive . It is a govt. formed after a legal election which occurs at regular intervals so is legitimate.
