How did alauddin khilji consolidate his empire?

Sultan Alauddin Khilji had introduced a healthy and systematic administrative policy in the Delhi Sultanate rule. His accession to the throne was not a peaceful one. He had to walk through bloodshed series of revolts.
Naturally the main object of administrative policy of Alauddin Khilji was to crush the revolts and consolidate the central authority throughout the kingdom. Alauddin Khilji earnestly wanted to consolidate the authority of the monarch and to create a powerful army to protect it.

1.Maintaining a strong and powerful as well as well equipped army.
2.He paid his army men in cash from the royal treasury.
3.He also organised a very efficient spy system.
4.He also introduced system of branding of horses as well as list of maintaining a number of soldiers.
5.He also did set up several factories and workshops for manufacturing of weapons and armours.
6.He also made the prices of goods cheaper so that all the people could afford them.
7.Farmers could not hoard grains or sell them privately.
8.The prices were also not allowed to be disturdisteven at times of famine.
9.He fixed all the prices of goods himself so as to assure a balance between the demand and supply.
10.He also did reorganise the intelligence system of his empire,confiscated the property of the nobles,banned public sale of drugs and liquor and did forbid social gatherings and festivals of nobles so as to ensure a rebel free environment.
