how did ancient mariner stop the wedding guest in 30-40 words

Three persons were going to attend a wedding ceremony. Suddenly one of them is stopped by the ancient mariner. When the wedding guest wants to know why he has been stopped, the ancient mariner holds his hand and starts telling him his story. When the guest was irritated he wants the old man to leave the hand. Strangely, the old mariner leaves his hand but the man was unable to go because he is hypnotized by the mariner's sparkling eyes.
