How did Australia and Germany differ their opinions about the League of Nations?

It was set up by the Treaty of Versailles (which every nation hated). Its aims were too ambitious. Germany, Russia and the USA were not members. It had no army.

Germany was not allowed to join the League in 1919. Russia was also not allowed to join as in 1917. Structure- It required a unanimous vote of nine, later fifteen, Council members to enact a resolution; in this case effective action was very difficult.
