How did Babur establish the Mughal empire in India ?

The sequence of events that followed led to the First Battle of Panipat between Babur and Ibrahim Lodi that took place in 1526. Ibrahim Lodi lost his life in this battle and Babur became India's ruler. This paved way for him to found the Mughal dynasty and was its first emperor from February 1483 to December 1530.
