French and Dutch speaking ministers are considered equal in the central government.

In addition to that, some of the powers of central government have been given to the state government as well.

However, the state government is not considered subordinate for the central government.

Brussels has a distinct government where both of the communities seem to have equal representation as well.

There is another government known as community government which elected by people of German, Dutch and French.
