See.... before the Britishers came to India ...the Indian textile industries were doing well India had the Indigo industry that was doing well and as well as India was in a good level of working of cotton textile industry but after the Britishers came to India the circumstances was just changed the Britishers started imposing export duty on silk and cotton textile that India would send to any other country and any Indian traders also suffered at the hands of the British traders the British traders got many privileges and facilities as compared to the Indian traders hence this was how the Indian industry or the Indian traders were completely ruined......
