it was spread as lord buddha himself went to many places for preaching of buddhism and many more peoples were also attracted by his teachings so this was the reason that it spread.

Answer

Buddhism was spread as Lord Buddha was doin' publicity of Buddhism as he was at Bihar, India. There he laid in all the people at that place. After that, he'd made a community of Saints. They used to publicity of Buddhism. Later on, various kings started to follow Buddhism. King like Ashoka, his sons, and daughter went at all the corners of world and laid in Buddhism.
