Volume is directly proportional to the absolute temperature at constant pressure. This is Charles law. V1/T1=V2/T2
Temperature must be absolute because temperature in Celsius scale can be negative due to which when we put the negative value of temperature the volume also becomes negative which is impossible.
So absolute temperature scale is used
