The Christianity was 1st seen in 1st Century by the arrival of Apostle of Thomas . He came to Kerala around 50~55 AD and established seven congregations.
189 AD ~Pantaenus, a missionary from Alexandria, arrives in India.
200 AD ~ The Syriac Chronicle of Edessadescribes a "church of the Christians" in India.
345 AD~During the Great Persecution in Persia, Thomas a Kana leads 400 Christian refugees to the Malabar coast.
883 AD~Anglo-Saxons bishops sent by King Alfred visit the tomb of St. Thomas (Mylapore).
1293 AD~ Marco Polo stays on the Coromandel Coast, describes the tomb of St. Thomas as a place of pilgrimage, and visits Christians and Jews in Quilon.
1502 AD~Thomas Christian leaders ask Vasco da Gama for an alliance against Muslim predators.
These are the ancient notable incidents took place .Then the preaching of christianity started by various propagator, preacher , missionaries , scholar,poet . Teaching their own sect of christianity, with various divisions among christianity & building CASTE wise christian churches in India. They lured people (backward hindu community) with money, upliftment in society , jobs in christendom.They have the only motto ~ Convert pagans into christian .With the advent of European from 15th century, conversion became more ruthless.
All christian existing in India are converted Christian .Their ancestors were Hindus ,even though its hard for them to digest .!
