Domestication of animals help the humans in many ways for eg ; Cows ang goats gave them milk and meat , Cattle also helped them in ploughing the fields also Cattle and sheep are kept for their wool, skins, meat and milk , large animals can also be used to do physical work like carrying things or plowing the field.Goats were probably the first animals to be domesticated, followed closely by sheep. In Southeast Asia, chickens also were domesticated about 10,000 years ago. Later, people began domesticating larger animals, such as oxen or horses, for plowing and transportation.Animal domestication changed a great deal of human society. It allowed for more permanent settlement as cattle provided a reliable food and supply source.A downside to domestication was the spread of diseases between humans and animals that would have otherwise jumped between species.

Hope this helps you
