Really British had introduced forest law for their betterment by this the prohibited the adivasi to enter the forest, the original inhabitants of that are.before forest were used by Britishers for plantation, fule for railways, for their ships etc.but when they found that the forest was on the way to vanish,they introduce d forest laws,in this they planted similar kinds of trees in rows and columns,this was called plantation.But in rhis also they had their own intentions.they were only planting the timber trees and other crops which were valuable in european market.In this way they drived out indians from their habbitant and occupied forest in the name of managing it
