Mahatma Gandhi demonstrated his worry about the usage of resources by raising his voice against it. He made everybody mindful that the regular resources are altogether restricted, in his words he said  "Earth has enough to satisfy the need of everybody except insufficient to fulfill their selfish desire".

He put the greedy and narrow minded people and exploitative nature of current innovation as the main cause of resource exhaustion. He was against mass production and needed to supplant it with by result of masses.
