Option D is applicable to the above question.

It is alleged that government backed and funded armed militias, carry out the genocides in Darfur. Mass killings and rapes are reported even today. Whole villages are looted, burned and their water resources polluted. The rivalry is between rebel groups of Sudanese Liberation Movement and Justice and Equality Movement.

It is estimated that 4,80,000 people have been killed and about 2.8 million people displaced, as a result of the conflict so far.
