When the writer was heading towards to go abroad, the grandmother went to see him off at the railway station. She kissed his forehead while praying and telling her beads. And when he returned back home after five years, she was very happy. She collected the women of the neighborhood at her place. She sand along with them beating the drums. It was for the first time that she missed her prayers.
