This question actually refers to carter. on the other hand the reference to TUT refers to the great kind to whom carter had to eventually go.
He took a stern decision to put the mummy under heat so that the resins could be under effect.
After this the body was cut and eventually it had to be stored on wooden box. So this was the main problem, associated with the mummy.
This started to become a practice thenceforth for preservation of mummy.
However all this brought Carter into more problems.
