I think Peggy searched for Wanda in the year 2018 - 22 (any year). Thanos snapped in the year 2018 and half the population of earth was wiped out. In this snap Wanda also turned into dust
in Wakanda and hence Peggy was not able to find Wanda as she died in infinity war.
