In Mendel's experiment of pea seed of two traits, i.e., Green/Yellow and Round/Wrinkled, we see that we get the same combination as that in the parents ( Green and round, Yellow and wrinkeld). However, we also notice some new combinations. We also get Green and wrinkled and we also get yellow and round seeds. Hence, this experiment concludes that traits are inherited independently.
