MENDAL EXPLAIN THE INHERITANCE BY PERFORMING EXPERIMENTS ON PEA PLANT ONE WITH DOMINANT CHARACTER AND OTHER WITH RESSESIVE CHARACTER

He explained this by a monohybrid cross between Tall and short pea plants.

In F1 generation, eventhough the genotype was Tt, meaning, both tall and short traits were inherited, the dominant trait was expressed (tall)

Using this, he derived the Law of Dominance that explained the possibility of a trait being inherited but not being expressed.
