When Mendel crossed tall pea plant and a dwarf pea plant in F1 progeny only tall plants appeared but there was also dwarfness which did not appear in the F1 progeny because it was a recessive trait but in F2 progeny when he crossed two plants obtained in F1 progeny then it was found that only 25% of the total were dwarf. That means it is possible that the a trait is inherited but not expressed because of being recessive.
Hope this helps if so plz mark as brainliest.
