when helen played with a little while Miss Sullivan slowly spelt into her hand the word d-o-l-l.. the main conclusion is that miss Sullivan make connection between words and meaning by trying. to spelt some words by writing on her hand . by one more example i tell you how connection made b/w helen and words with their meanings
one day Sullivan try to give KNOWLEDGE about water and mug . but she didn't understand difference of water and mug . that why she broke her doll that is given by her teacher. After that miss Sullivan also try to impress her that water is water and mug is mug . but she didn't understand. After that they walked down the path of the well house attract by the fragrance of honeysuckle. somewhere was drawing water and her teacher takes his hand to the spout . as the cool stream gushes gushed over her hand she spelt the word water , first slowly and then rapidly.
