Montmorency was narrator's pet dog. He created a bug confusion while Harris and George were packing hampers. Montmorency would put his nose in wherever they tried to pick up something. He put his leg inside the jam. He pretended the lemons were rats and he put them into the basket. Harris angrily said that the narrator made the dog to all this.
