Mrs. Pumphrey overfed her dog 'Tricky'.

She gave him a lot of fatty foods such as ice creams, cakes.

She fed him often and tricky never refused the foods given by her because he loved eating.

Mrs. Pumphrey also gave malt, Horlicks and cod liver oil for his health.

Mrs. Pumphrey added to his problem

- Mrs. Pumphrey did not stop feeding her dog and fed him in between meals.

- As a result of the overfeeding, Tricky became fat and lazy.

- She did not give him any exercise.

- He did not move or play actively and became uninterested in the surrounding.

- This caused his stomach to become bloated and indigestion which resulted in a series of vomiting.

Hope this helps.

Mrs. Pumphrey thought that Tricki was suffering from malnutrition, as he was weak and listless. So, she started to give him extra snacks like cod-liver oil and malt between the main meals and Horlicks after dinner to make him stronger. She also continued his cream cakes and chocolates.
