Nicola and Jacopo did odd jobs to support their sister who was admitted in the hospital.
The worked as fruit sellers, helped people with shining their shoes, hawked newspapers and for a worked as a guide for tourists.
They did all this for their sister who was suffering from tuberculosis.

Nicola and Jacopo used to do all odd jobs to earn their living. They worked hard all day and night without thinking about their health and comfort. They used to work as shoes shine boys, Fruits and vegetable vendor, ran small errands of people like bringing ciggrates etc. they also worked ats tourist guides and sold newspapers at night at bus stand in freezing cold. Every sunday they ised to visit their sister in hospital too.
