how did non cooperation movement spread to the country side and drew into its fold the struggles of the peasants and tribal communities? elaborate

1. In the countryside, the non coorporation movement spread from the urban area.
2. In Awadh, Baba Ramchandra, a sanyasi, initiated this strruggle with the peasants.
3. The main reason was to revolt against the oppressive landlords who demanded high rents from the peasants and also made them perform begar in their fields.
4.The peasants were given temporary tenancy by the landlord to prevet the peasants from acquiring permanent ownership.
5. In july 1920, Jawaharlal Nehru attended Awadh to know the condition of the people
6. By october 1920,Oudh Kisan Sanghs were set up around Awadh .
7. The main idea of the Congress around this action was to collaborate the peasant movement into a large spectrum for the non coorporation movement the next year
8.But what happened in 1921 was not supported by the congress. The peasants looted grain supplies in markets, burnt down houses of landlords.
9. They did all this due to the enthusiasm created by the local leaders by taking the name of Gandhiji.
 10. In the 1920s,in the Gudem hills of Andhra pradesh, forest laws were enacted.
11. But when the british demanded begar for road building, the villagers revolted.
12. Alluri Sitaraman was a god figure for  them who urged them to give up drinking and wear Khadi
13. The forest people attacked the buildings of british and attempted to murder british officials
14. Alluri Sitaraman was persecuted in 1924
