Patol Babu gave up stage acting in order to earn his livelihood as stage acting didn't provide enough for it. He got a very good job in Calcutta. He was posted as a clerk in Hudon and Kimverley Company. Although he didn't work there for a long time as he didn't like the nature of his boss. He did many other jobs and joined many companies but the acting was his passion which he did with all his considerations and efforts.
